We are 15 minutes from the historic centre of Florence by Tramvia T2.

From the airport to the station, passing through Novoli and crossing the high-speed railway area, Line 2 connects the most important transport infrastructures. It is the hinge between the old and the new city centre and is the gateway to fundamental functions such as the Palace of Justice and the University Campus.

The route is 5.3 km long and there are 13 stops. The journey time is about 20 minutes. 

This is a fundamental line for several reasons:

• affects the area of greatest development in the metropolitan area (Novoli)

• connects Peretola Airport with the new high-speed train station
• serves the new settlements for the University and the Palace of Justice in the Novoli area
• serves the historic centre, via the terminus in Piazza dell'Unità, allowing complete pedestrianisation along the axis that passes alongside the Duomo and Baptistery
